Global Configuration

The Global Configuration  screen is where all the default parameters are set for I’ll Be There RSVP. Use the parameter groupings and tabs to adjust the parameters as required.

1. Registration Control has 3 options:

  • Allow Registrations from - This option controls witch user groups are permitted to register.
  • Allow Full processing - This option determines whether I`ll Be There RSVP should monitor the capacity of sessions for which the “Maximum Number of Registrations” has been set. If this ability is enabled, a session`s status will be changed to “Full” when there are no more spaces available, and user`s will no longer be able to register for the session.
  • Allow registered user cancellation -  This feature controls whether registered users of the site may cancel their registration 

2. Date and Time Formatting gives possibility to chose 3 options for date:

  • Date Format (short) - Short date format, were you can chose between 5 types of date
  • Date Format (long) - Long date format, Example: Sunday, 05 September 2010
  • Time Format - Your preferred time format, were you can chose between 4 types of time format 

3. Dashboard Settings includes options for:

  • News (RSS Feed) 
    • Entry Length - Here you can define the number of characters, after which an entry will be cut. If you e.g. want to display the complete entry, so leave this field blank
    • Number of Entries - Here you can define the number of entries that will be extracted from the RSS feed. If you e.g. want to display the complete news-feed, leave this field blank.
  • Latest Registrations
    • Number of Entries - Here you can define how many (latest) registrations will be displayed.If you e.g. want to display all recent and not yet viewed registrations, leave this field blank.
  • Syslog Table
    • Number of Entries - Here you can define, how many (latest) syslog entries will be displayed.This value should not be set to a value higher than 10 up to 20, because higher values can affect system performance.
    • Length Method -  Here you can define, how much characters will be displayed in the column " Method(line) ", i.e. cut information after n characters. If you don`t want to cut any characters, leave this field blank.
    • Length Message - Here you can define, how much characters will be displayed in the column “ Message “, i.e. cut information after n characters If you don't want to cut any characters, leave this field blank.

4. Front-End Control includes options for displaying events and registration information: 

  • Starting Listing Events - When to start listing of events, have 5 options: Immediately, When Registration Begins, When Registration Ends, When Event Begins, When Event Ends
  • Stop Listing Events - When to stop listing of events, have 4 options: When Registration Begins, When Registration Ends, When Event Begins, When Event Ends
  • List Events that are Full - Whether to show events that are already full
  • List Events Regardless of Availability - Whether to list events regardless of availability
  • Show user number registrations -  Whether to show user number registrations
  • Display Footer in Front-End - Whether to display footer in Front-End
  • Display Link to Google Maps - Whether to display link to Google Maps
  • Display List of 'Already Registered' Users - Whether to display list of already registered users 

5. reCaptcha controls the use of the reCaptcha plugin:

  • Enable reCaptcha plugin - If set to true reCaptcha plugin is enabled
  • Who can bypass captcha - Users from selected group WILL NOT see reCaptcha fields

6. Thank You Display includes options for the confirmation message displayed to a regisitrant after they register for an event. The following replacement tags can be used:

  • {fullname} - The Users Full Name
  • {email} - The Users Email address
  • {url} - The URL to display Event info
  • {title} - The Event Title
  • {action} - The Registration Action (Register, Update, Cancel)
  • {data} - Table containing the data enter

7. Cancellation Text includes options for the cancellation message displayed to a regisitrant if they cancel their registration for an event. The following replacement tags can be used:

  • {fullname} - The Users Full Name
  • {email} - The Users Email address
  • {url} - The URL to display Event info
  • {title} - The Event Title
  • {action} - The Registration Action (Register, Update, Cancel)
  • {data} - Table containing the data enter

8. Confirm Email includes options for the confirmation email message sent to a regisitrant when they register for an event.

  • Send Confirmation Email - Chose if you want to sent or not the email confirmation
  • Confirmation Email Subject: Write here the Email subject

The following replacement tags can be used:

  • {fullname} - The Users Full Name
  • {email} - The Users Email address
  • {url} - The URL to display Event info
  • {title} - The Event Title
  • {action} - The Registration Action (Register, Update, Cancel)
  • {data} - Table containing the data enter

9. Notify email includes options for the notification email message sent to the event host or site administrator when somewhen registers for an event.

  • Send Notification Email - Chose if you want to sent or not the email confirmation
  • Notification Email Subject: Write here the Email subject 

The following replacement tags can be used:

  • {fullname} - The Users Full Name
  • {email} - The Users Email address
  • {url} - The URL to display Event info
  • {title} - The Event Title
  • {action} - The Registration Action (Register, Update, Cancel)
  • {data} - Table containing the data enter
