Events Module

The Latest Events Module (demo) is a convenient and highly flexible way to dynamically display the upcoming events on your calendar. Simply publish the module to any existing module position in your template and see the results instantly.
This module has numerous options allowing you to show or hide all the details of your events, or even to show events from a specific category or a users own private events. Importantly, you can use copies of the module around your site and customize the parameters as desired for each copy.
See also the Latest Events Content Plugin (below) for dynamically publishing events within content items.
Calendar module

The Mini-calendar Module (demo) is great for when u need to display a full calendar in a small space.
As similarly described above, this module has numerous options to control the events displayed on the mini-calendar and the parameters can be customized multiple copies.
Locations module

The Locations Module is great for displaying a dynamic map of all your events. You can also configure the module to geolocate the site visitor and display events close to their location.
Joomla Search/Advanced Search Plugin

JCal Pro® includes its own dedicated search feature. In addition, the Joomla search plugin will allow your events to be searchable from the core Joomla search engine and any other Joomla extension (such as Advanced Search) that uses search plugins to locate content (we recommend of course).
When using Advanced Search you will be able to filter events by date range for example. The default Joomla search lacks this feature.
sh404SEF® Plugin

Calendar extensions produce complicated URLs making it difficult for search engines to index events. The JCal Pro® sh404SEF® Plugin creates optimized, search-engine friendly URLs that work in conjunction with the meaningful event meta data that is standard in JCal Pro® to optimize search-engine indexing.
Note: sh404SEF® is required for this feature and is available with a separate subscription.
reCAPTCHA Plugin

If you have a community and/or public calendar, you may want to allow guests and Registered users on your site to submit events. JCal Pro® ships with a reCAPTCHA plugin to protect your event submission forms from automated spamming and other attacks.
To use this feature, you will have to create a reCAPTCHA account, register your domain name, obtain the api keys and use them configure the plugin as described in the User Manual.
Latest Events Content Plugin

Like the related module (above), the Latest Events Content Plugin allows you to insert events information into Joomla articles (demo) or other extensions that process content plugins (for example, K2).
Individual events or sets of events (i.e. a full category or calendar of events) can easily be inserted into an article and dynamically updated when the event is edited in JCal Pro®.
Joomfish Content Elements

If you are using Joomfish to translate the other content on your Joomla web site, JCal Pro® will fit right in and be translated like your other content. JCal Pro® auto-detects the presence of Joomfish and auto-installs the necessary Content Elements to activate event translation.
Community Builder Plugins

JCal Pro® was designed to manage both private events for your personal calendar as well as collaborative, group-based events. Thus, displaying your events in your Community Builder profile makes perfect sense.
JCal Pro® provides both a Latest Events and a Mini-calendar plugin for Community Builder.
I'll Be There RSVP Integration

I'll Be There RSVP is an event registration extension featuring a highly configurable registration form manager and was written to work with JCal Pro®.
Events created in RSVP can be displayed on your JCal Pro® calendar and when selected allow event registration. A live demo is available TheJoomlaCalendar.com.
JomSocial Plugins & Integration

JCal Pro® was designed to manage both private events for your personal calendar as well as collaborative, group-based events. Thus, displaying your events in your JomSocial profile makes perfect sense. JCal Pro® provides both a Latest Events and a Mini-calendar plugin for this purpose.
In addition, you can also display JomSocial events in JCal Pro® to give an integrated view of all of your events. A live demo is available TheJoomlaCalendar.com.
Flex Module

The Flex module (demo) is the sharpest, most efficient way to display JCal Pro® events. You can display todays events, tomorrows events, events on a specific day of the week, next weeks events, or even a mini-calendar, all together in up to 9 of Joomla’s popular sliders.
Note: This module requires either a standard or developer subscription.
Content Editor Plugin

The Content Editor Plugin (demo) allows you to quickly and easily add event details or a link to an event in a content article. Simply click the Insert Event button below the event description entry box and select the appropriate event from the Event Manager popup.
Note: This module requires either a standard or developer subscription.
