is it possible to create an RSVP event on the front end just as you can do in JCAL?

This is not possible in RSVP, all RSVP events are created in the admin panel
Note: Jcal Pro v3 Beta (Joomla 1.7+) does have this functionality. It is available for testing by the public http://anything-digital.com/agora/news/ … ruary.html
