SOLVED: error: home page redirect to a product detail page

hi all,
sometimes, when I try to open homepage I'm redirected to a product detail page.
To restore the home page I delete the product url and cache and after it works.
Have I wrong somthing in settings?

Hello albmolte,

This is discussed so many times on forum, so please go to "Alias manager" search for a alias named "Modify" and delete it, after that clear your browser cache and see if your problem is solved.

only one more question.
why this redirect happen? have I something wrong in my settings? or I made something wrong?

Hello albmolte,

No, I`m afraid you`ve redirected a blank 404 entry from "404 requests manager" and that`s why that redirect happened. Anyway we`ve added a check for this now on our latest sh404sef version and blank entries should not be anymore present in "404 requests manager"
