SOLVED: Internet Explorer, not responding due to a long running script

SOLVED: Internet Explorer, not responding due to a long running script

When trying to access jCal Pro in the backend with Internet Explorer 7, 8 or 9 it does not respond and after a time it shows the message "Domain is not responding due to a long-running script.". Using the offer to stop the script brings me to the requested page, but every new click on an option (add Event or so) produces the issue again.

Accessing the backend component with Firefox or IE 10 works fine.

jCal Pro Starter: 3.2.6.2856
Joomla: 2.5.11

Edit: mark as solved

Using an alternative browser is not a problem for me, but it is for other users.

Re: SOLVED: Internet Explorer, not responding due to a long running script

I'm having the same issue BUT in the front-end.

Please, could you confirm if it's the same bug?

Re: SOLVED: Internet Explorer, not responding due to a long running script

That is not the same issue,

please post a separate question (while you do make sure that the Joomla template is up to date, it appears your template is replacing Joomla's Twitter Bootstrap)

This question is related to Joomla 2.5
