Joomla 3.2 Stable now available - Crucial Security Updates fixed

The Joomla! Project is pleased to announce the availability of Joomla! CMS 3.2.0 Stable. Joomla 3 is the latest major release of the Joomla CMS, with Joomla 3.2 the third minor release in this series. The Production Leadership Team's goal is to continue to provide regular, frequent updates to the Joomla community.

Full details can be found in the official Joomla 3.2 stable release announcement at

Joomla 3.1.6 also has a security release package

There is also the important inclusion of low and medium priority security patches for information disclosure, XSS, DOS and privilege escalation vulnerabilities affecting all previous versions of Joomla 2.5 (2.5.14 and earlier) and 3.1 (3.1.5 and earlier).

It is recommended that your upgrade to Joomla 3.2 which has additional new features, however the security issues are addressed in the Joomla 3.1.6 release for those that are unable to upgrade to Joomla 3.2 at this time. The Joomla 3.1.6 release will require a manual installation.

The official manual update for Joomla 3.1.6 can be found at Joomla 3.1.6 release package.
